With the shift to distance learning in the first few weeks of the COVID-19 shutdown, a longtime Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) supporter accommodated the necessity for laptops for children to be able to continue their education from home.

The anonymous donor partnered with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County to donate 55 Chromebooks to ACCF. The organization will distribute the laptops to students and families in each of the organization’s programs to aid in virtual learning through the summer and the upcoming school year.

Each family will also receive training from an ACCF staff member on how to use their new device and receive tips on continuing virtual distance learning during the school year.
